She sat perfectly still. Eyes locked on the bowl. Not eating. Just staring.
I asked, "What's wrong?" She blinked slowly... then looked back at the kibble.
Apparently, it wasn't the right brand. Or maybe it needed cheese. Or maybe she just wanted to make me feel guilty.
Finally, after 5 minutes of silence and drama... She took one crunchy bite.
Then walked away like:
That'll do, human. Barely.
This morning, my dog ran to the window and started growling.
Low. Serious. Intense.
I rushed over - expecting danger.
Nothing.
No person.
No car.
No squirrel.
Just air.
She kept growling.
I asked, "What do you see?"
She looked at me, then back out the window.
"You wouldn't understand, human. It's a vibe."
She sat. Watched the wind. Guarding us... from absolutely nothing
